The Bible tells us the story of Israel in the wilderness is our story — that we’re all pilgrims in a spiritual desert, and this world is not our home. Yet, as we see the resurrected Jesus as the first sign of a resurrected world, we wait with expectation for the day that God will turn the desert into a garden.
